The Brand

Founded in 2017, and based in the US, this brand sells streetwear for men and women internationally. After months of being stuck at a certain revenue range and having a bad experience with their ad buyer, we were approached to help scale using paid media. After weeks of preliminary research/analysis, we went to work!

The Challenge

The Solution

The brand is an online streetwear/clothing brand ($120 AOV). 

Prior to working with this brand, they were averaging around ~$100k revenue (over 1.1% CVR). They needed help to scale higher, so we were approached to help out in this regard. We carried out our preliminary research/analysis and went straight to work! 

We started by overhauling and simplifying their ad account structure, making changes to audiences, ads e.t.c 

By the time we took over their ad account, they didn’t have a well thought out ad account structure to organize their ads in terms of budget, audience, bid strategy e.t.c. 

For example, there was no clear difference between prospecting and remarketing in the account. They also had multiple campaigns running at the same time. That had to change. We cut down the number of campaigns down to just 2 - one for prospecting (ABO) and the other for remarketing (CBO) (and a maximum of 4 ads per adset) 

This allowed us to unlock better efficiency because of proper budget allocation across the account, which in turn influenced overall performance. 

We overhauled their creative strategy from ad concepts to ad formats, hooks, body copy, ad types (static images, videos, e.t.c) in a bid to find what works and what doesn’t. 

We then started rapidly testing creative assets in the ad account. Underperformers were killed quickly and top performers were scaled. Within the first month alone, we tested over 65+ ad variations and found a good number of top performers that were constantly iterated upon while also coming up with new ideas. 

We used (and still use) Motion to analyze creatives, which helped us scale faster. 

We also helped solidify buyer personas for the brand. Before we started working with them, they didn’t have specific buyer personas figured out. 

So we got to work and split their customer base into three categories which allowed us to write ad copy/messaging for each category with clarity - which resulted in an increase in CTR from less than 0.62% to >1.73%.

We also helped/collaborated in the production of UGC/influencer content by leveraging our network of close-knit creators which helped produce a constant stream of ad content we used in our paid ads.
